Jennie watched the kangaroo float into the bay on a raft. Whenever she came to the beach in front of her grandparent's summer home, she was positive some great adventure would come to her.

The cottage appeared frozen. The sea, the sky and the cove were timeless.

She wasn't afraid.

The kangaroo saying "G' Day" seemed the most natural thing in the world.
